Data collection

When you access our websites, we automatically collect general data. This data (server log files) includes, for example, the type of browser you use, your operating system, the domain name of your Internet service provider, and other similar general data. This data is completely anonymous and is used to display the websites correctly and is retrieved every time you use the Internet. The completely anonymous data is statistically evaluated to improve our service for you.

Contact form

If you contact us via our contact page or send us an email, the relevant data will be stored for processing.

Deletion or blocking of data

Your personal data will only be stored for as long as is absolutely necessary to provide the specified services and as required by law. After these periods have expired, the personal data of users is regularly blocked or deleted.

Social Plugins

We use social plugins from the providers listed below on our website. Plugins are marked with the corresponding logo.

Through such plugins, the service provider may be able to receive information and personal data from our visitors. A two-click solution installed by us prevents the unnoticed collection and transmission of data to the service provider. Only when you activate a social plugin by clicking on it will the collection of information and its transmission to the service provider be triggered.

What data a plugin collects once it has been activated, and how this data is subsequently used, is beyond our control. In some cases, direct connections to the services of the respective provider are established, and your IP address and specific usage information may be collected and used. Service providers may also attempt to store cookies on your computer. You can find out how these cookies operate in the privacy policies of the respective providers. You may be identified as a visitor by Facebook if you are currently logged into your Facebook account.

Social media buttons from the following company are integrated into our website:

Google Plus/Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway – Mountain View – CA 94043 – USA)

Cookies

Our website uses “cookies.” Cookies are text files that are transferred from a website’s server to your computer. Certain data, such as your IP address, browser, operating system, and internet connection, may be transmitted in this process.

Cookies do not start programs and do not transmit viruses. The information collected through cookies is used to make navigation easier for you and to optimize the display of our website. Data collected by us will never be shared with third parties or linked to personal data without your consent. You can prevent the use of cookies through your browser settings. You can find information on how to change these settings in your browser’s documentation. Certain functions of our website may not work properly if the use of cookies is disabled.

Scalable Central Measurement Method (SZM)

To collect statistical data about the use of our services, we use the “Scalable Central Measurement Method” (SZM) operated by INFOnline GmbH (http://www.infonline.de ). This method collects anonymous measurements. The SZM reach measurement uses either a cookie with the identifier “ioam.de” or “ivwbox.de,” a local storage object, or a signature created from various transmitted information from your web browser to recognize computer systems. IP addresses are used in an anonymized form. Data privacy is always observed during reach measurement. This method statistically determines the usage intensity and number of users of a website. Individual users are not identified, and their identity remains protected at all times. The system does not send advertising. Websites that are members of the Information Community for the Assessment of the Circulation of Media (IVW – http://www.ivw.eu ) or participate in the “internet facts” study by the Working Group for Online Media Research (AGOF – www.agof.de ) have their usage statistics published monthly by AGOF, the Working Group for Media Analysis (ag.ma – www.agma-mmc.de ), and IVW. These can be viewed at http://www.agof.de , http://www.agma-mmc.de , and http://www.ivw.eu . The IVW regularly reviews the SZM method for compliance with data protection regulations, and the measurement data are published. For detailed information about the SZM method, please visit: INFOnline GmbH: https://www.infonline.de AGOF Privacy Policy: http://www.agof.de/datenschutz IVW Privacy Policy: http://www.ivw.eu If you wish to opt out of data processing by the SZM, you can do so at the following links: http://optout.ioam.de http://optout.ivwbox.de
